"You can know the name of a bird in all the languages of the world, but when you're finished, you'll know absolutely nothing what so ever about the bird. So let's look at the bird and see what it's doing- that's what counts. I learned very early the difference between knowing the name of something and knowing something." -- Richard Feynman
Learning and the desire to learn has marked the basic essence of mankind. It is knowledge that has elevated man from his stature from just another animal to that of the ruler of the earth. Knowledge, truly is power.
At Pragyan, the aim of workshops has been to spark the quest for knowledge that is not satiated by books alone. In this aspect we have had workshops on Bio-Inspired robotics, HAM radio, Hacking, Image Processing, Automobile design, Management among several others. By means of these workshops we have sought to bring down the experts in varied fields and provide participants with a hands on knowledge of the very best of technology.
In this edition of Pragyan, we look forward to continuing the journey that we have started and our aim still remains the same - an opportunity to interact with the experts and walk away with the gift of knowledge.
