The event tests the ability of the contestants to exploit vulnerabilities on websites in order to gain access to confidential information on remote systems.

• The event will be held entirely online and will consist of several problems that will be valued independently.
• The difficulty of challenges will increase with the points associated with the level.
• Contestant can attempt any level at any time.

1. This is an individual event.
2. Winners will be determined based on their total points and not on the number of levels completed.
3. Ties will be broken based on the time difference between the first login to Digital Fortress Website and the time of the last correct solution of a challenge. The person with a smaller time difference will be ranked higher.
4. Contestants can use any tools or softwares they require. However, any attempt to break into the server (in ways other than what we expect) will lead to immediate disqualification.
5. The decision of the organizers will be binding to all the participants.

This event will be about web-hacking (including Javascript, PHP, Python), Password Hacking, Application Cracking , Steganography and Cryptography.

• I don't know hacking, where should I begin?

Check out Hack this Site and Hellbound Hackers. Try out the basic Web Hacking, Javascript Hacking and Stegano. This should give you a good start.
