A Gold Medalist and an alumnus of REC Trichy and Anna Univeristy, Mr Bala's career has spanned some of the leading companies globally, including Detroit giant General Motors and many more. He was also the Chief Architect in General Motors where he was responsible for implementing global eBusiness solutions. He also set up and led solution factories, namely the Global Integration Factory, to cater to all external and internal integrations, and a Global Reporting Factory to handle all areas of data warehousing and business intelligence. He has proven capability in incubating several new technologies and helped blend them with delivery, thereby helping build highly technology-focused organizations.

At a leading service provider like Cognizant, his work spans areas as diverse as banking, finance, life sciences, logistics and many more - and he is the man behind the technology that has made Cognizant one of the major players globally in the consultancy and IT fields.
