satellite launching workshop

Registrations have closed
Build and launch your own working microsatellite, CANSAT with this incredible 2 day workshop with experts appreciated by NASA and ISRO. As a part of this workshop, you will design and build a microsatellite that can measure the intensity of light, visibility, weather conditions, and elevation. These measurements will be recorded in digital format, which you will then learn to interpret to extract useful information. The CANSAT will be launched from a parachute and a rocket.

Hurry and register for the Satellite Design and Launching workshop. Such an experience is hard to come by!

The mission of the workshop would be to design a satellite that will fit inside a Jam - Jar and will collect information of about 511 packets spread across a time interval of 10
minutes. The information that it will collect would be dependent on its direction and location of movement during its descent after the launch of the CanSat.
Each CanSat will have a parachute with which it will descend at a velocity between 3 m/s to 7m/s.
The circuit has to be designed for the following objectives:-
i. Air Temperature
ii. Light Intensity measure in Voltage
iii. Packet Number
All circuitry has to fit into the Pet-Jar and all values will be stored in the EEPROM of the Microcontroller.
In short the workshop will consist of the following modules:
1.    Development Board Overview
2.    Programming the micro controller
3.    The AVR-USB programmer
4.    Dumping Code Using Programmer
