1. NASA Moon Rock

Over the next few decades many successful lunar missions accompanied and the astronauts brought back many samples of lunar rocks, sand and dust. Pragyan 2015 shall be a footnote in history as we exhibit a 120gm Moon rock borrowed from NASA, which travelled 3,84,403 km to the Earth via one of the Apollo missions. This 4.5 billion old rock stands as the testimony of mankind’s endeavours in space frontier and is an inspiration to the upcoming technocrats.
2. Vishnu Engineering's NAO Humanoid Robots
A true confluence of sci-fi and science, wherein the reel converges with the real, think Real Steel, The Terminator, Wall-E and The Jetsons. Pragyan 2015 presents to you Vishnu Engineering's NAO robot. Vishnu Engineering's NAO is a programmable humanoid robot developed for domestic use. He moves, recognizes you, hears you and even talks to you. His unique speech library allows him to communicate in 19 different languages. With its (his) dual CPUs, two cameras, four directional microphones, two speakers, touch sensors, tactile sensor and sonar range finders, NAO can interpret the surroundings and recalibrate his interactions, with his user friendly programmable open source software. This also means that NAO can respond to touch, direction and even emotions, giving you the full humanoid experience. All these factors made him a star in world of education by being used in computer and science classes from primary schools through universities in more than 70 countries.
3. Brain Controlled Helicopter
Controlling objects through mind is an upcoming technology that will change the object-user interface in the near future. One such glimpse into the mind wave control technology is the RC helicopter control via mind waves brought to you by Pantech Solutions. This helicopter called Puzzlebox Orbit, or simply Orbit is operated with an EEG headset. The users can fly it by focusing their concentration and clearing their mind. Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE)
The Arjun main battle tank (MBT), named after the warrior prince Arjuna in the Indian epic Mahabharata, was developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for the Indian Army. It has been developed under a multilaboratory programme of DRDO mainly at the Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE) laboratory. Designed to Indian Army’s most stringent specification & operational conditions, Arjun MBT represents the translation of advanced design into a reliable and effective weapon system to meet the varied threats. This Pragyan, we present to to you the Arjun MBT, a state-of-the-art tank with superior firepower, high mobility and excellent protection.
5. Masha Nazeem's Social Exhibits
The youngest person to present a research paper in a World Conference. Winner of 2 international, 5 national and 2 President Awards. KVPY fellow – Issued by the Indian Institute of Science. Visited Japan as a guest invitee of the Government of Japan. The most acclaimed young inventor of India. The only student to present her exhibits for two presidents at the Rastrapathy Bhavan. 7.Gtre Gas Turbines
The Indian Armed Forces "the world's third largest military force and the standing volunteer army". The technology develoved by the DRDO, incorporated by the Indian Army is considered as the backbone for it's success. Pragyan '15 proudly brings to you, The most popular technology used by The Indian Naval Force, the Kaveri Marine Gas Turbine, developed by the Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE). Kaveri Marine Gas Turbine is a design spin-off from the Kaveri engine, designed for Indian combat aircraft. There will be a display of the turbine model, aided by a 3D visual to undersand the working of this military masterpiece.
8.Heavy Alloy Penetration Project
The Heavy Alloy Penetrator Project or HAPP is an Indian defence establishment operated by the Ordnance Factories Board. Head-quartered at Kolkata, under the overall charge of Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The factory was initially established in the late 1980s as a unit of Defence Research and Development Organisation in collaboration with other government defence agencies and some foreign partners. The factory produces 400 tonne per annum home-made tungsten based heavy alloy components through powder metallurgy processes to manufacture FSAPDS (Fin Stabilized Armor Piercing Discarding Sabot), alternatively called the APFSDS, which is a high kinetic energy weapon used in tank and other armor piercing ammunition, supplied to Indian Army.
