Abhas Mitra

Abhas Mitra is an Indian Astrophysicist well known for his groundbreaking research and findings in several front-line astrophysics concepts, particularly black holes and Big Bang Cosmology.

He has claimed that there are no true black holes. The so-called black holes are actually balls of ultra-magnetized fire- plasma.

Abhas Mitra is an Adjunct Prof. in Homi Bhabha National Science Institute and also a member of the International Astronomical Union. He has headed the theoretical astrophysics section of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, India as well.

His theory has been recognised by the NASA and he continues to work towards breaking paradoxes of the astrophysical world.
