National Instruments: Image processing using LABVIEW
National Instruments is a leading machine vision and scientific imaging hardware and software tools provider. Engineers and scientists use NI Vision products to solve a diverse set of application challenges faster and at a lower cost. Some of the applications areas where NI Machine Vision technology used are Automotive and Aerospace, Electronics Validation, Food, Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Goods, Medical and Scientific, Semiconductor and Solar and Vision-Guided Robotics.
In this one day hands-on workshop, the participant will learn how to use NI Vision Development module and Vision Builder for automated inspection to perform acquire an image, develop an algorithm to analyze the image and build application to solve real world applications.
- Introduction to NI Graphical System Design platform - 30 mins
- Introduction & Hands-on to LabVIEW Graphical Programming environment - 60 mins
- Introduction & Hands-on to NI Vision Assistant - 120 mins
- Introduction & Hands-on to NI Vision Builder for automated inspection - 120 mins
- Demo of NI Smart Camera based Machine Vision system - 30 mins

1) Does the workshop have any prerequisites?
-No Prior knowledge is required.
2) How should the payment be made for the workshop?
-Payment can be made online or through demand draft(dd). Payment guidelines will be mailed to the participant’s mail-id once you have registered.
3) On what basis are workshop registrations confirmed?
-Registrations are confirmed after payment on first come first serve basis. Confirmation of your participation is subject to availability.
4) Will the fees paid for the workshop be refunded in case I fail to attend the workshop?
-Fees once paid, is strictly non-refundable. Requests for refund will not be encouraged.
5) Will accommodation be provided?
-Yes. We provide accommodation depending on the availability and your place of residence. You will have to register separately for that. Stay tuned to the website for updates on accommodation.
6) Will certificates be provided?
-Yes. A certificate from Pragyan, the ISO certified Techno-Management Festival of NIT, Trichy with UNESCO patronage will be provided after the completion of the workshop.
