Day 1:
TIVA:TM4C123GXL LAUNCHPAD
Session 1:
- Introduction to ARM CORTEX M4 microcontroller, Architecture, Register, Interrupt Vectors.
- Introduction to TM4c123Gx Microcontroller.
- Introduction to TIVAWARE: Overview of TIVAWARE.
Session 2:
- API Documentation.
- Installation of Workshop Lab Files.
- Setting up Code Composer Studio to use TIVAWARE
- Creation of Path & Build variables
- Practice creating Projects & getting to know the look & feel of CCSv6.
- Assignment 1
Session 3:
- Initialization & GPIO
- Initialization of clock system and GPIO using TIVAWARE
- Interrupts and Timers
- Setup the Timer to generate interrupts & flash LEDs at fixed intervals.
- Assignment 2
Session 4:
- Analog to Digital Converters (ADC)
- Usage of ADC12 & sample sequencers to measure data from on chip temperature sensor.
- Assignment 3
Day 2:
Session 5:
- Universal Asynchronous RX/TX (UART)
- Usage of UART to establish communication between two Launch-pads
- Assignment 4
Session 6:
- Pulse Width Modulation (PWM)
- Usage of PWM module to control speed of motor
- Assignment 5
Session 7:
- Demonstration of IOT based project using TIVA TM4C123GXL Launchpad,SensHub Boosterpack and CC3200 WiFi Launchpad.

1) Does the workshop have any prerequisites?
-Each and every electronics enthusiast who wants to explore the field and grab an opportunity coming straight from Texas Instruments is welcome.
2) How should the payment be made for the workshop?
-Payment can be made online or through demand draft(dd). Payment guidelines will be mailed to the participant’s mail-id once you have registered.
3) On what basis are workshop registrations confirmed?
-Registrations are confirmed after payment on first come first serve basis. Confirmation of your participation is subject to availability.
4) Will the fees paid for the workshop be refunded in case I fail to attend the workshop?
-Fees once paid, is strictly non-refundable. Requests for refund will not be encouraged.
5) Will accommodation be provided?
-Yes. We provide accommodation depending on the availability and your place of residence. You will have to register separately for that. Stay tuned to the website for updates on accommodation.
6) Will certificates be provided?
-Yes. A certificate from Pragyan, the ISO certified Techno-Management Festival of NIT, Trichy with UNESCO patronage will be provided after the completion of the workshop.
7) On what date will the workshop be held?
-When you register for the workshop you can give your preferred date. However, the allotment of the date slot is subject to availability. After your registration is confirmed, a detailed mail containing the date allotted will be sent.
