When your imagination is as high as the sky, everything you see is a gold mine. And when it comes to capturing things you see, imagination knows no bounds and the world is your canvas. Lights On is a competition that tests the magic you can create through the eye of a camera and reveal to us the world you see. Also, the intricacy been raised a notch where you can show off your skills on ‘Long/Multiple Exposure Photography’. Waiting we are, to see your flash shine in Pragyan.
Prizes
Judge’s Choice :
The top 2 contestants with highest cumulative scores at the end will be awarded prizes in the order: Winner, First Runner-up.
People’s Choice :
Entries will be put up in the official Facebook page (and Instagram handle) of Pragyan after the initial short listing.
The participant who gets the highest number of likes on Facebook (and Instagram) will receive a special prize.
The two winners of Judge's choice and the winner of People's choice will also get:
i) Free Photography workshop ticket conducted by NIKON worth INR 800 during Pragyan.
ii) Free one 3-month and 2-month online courses by Indian Institute of Photography.
iii) One year subscription of Inspiro India magazine.
iv) 1 year free print subscription of Saevus.
v) 1 year free subscription of Smart photography.
Indian Institute of Photography and Inspiro India will publish these winners photographs in their online magazine and website.
AlsoTravelling camera will select 10 participants and provide them online internship.
All Participants will be provided free subscription of Smart photography e-zine magazine
The competition involves one online round. Participants can submit a maximum of three photographs based on any long/multiple exposure photography along with title and a one-liner explaining the essence of the photographs captured.

This is an INDIVIDUAL event and is open for ALL.
Entries with offensive or inappropriate content will be disqualified.
The photographs submitted must be a genuine, original work of the participant.
The copyrights of the pictures will stay with the photographer. However, Pragyan reserves the right to use the pictures for publicity or other activities.
Photographic Specifications :
The photo size should not exceed 8 MB.
There shouldn’t be any watermarks, logos, names or signatures on the photograph.
All images should be in JPEG format only.
The minimum resolution of the pictures must be 3MP.
Post processing of the pictures is allowed on Adobe Lightroom and any other stacking software.
If processed, the original for the post-processed image should also be submitted. The original photograph EXIF should be intact.
No restrictions on the type of camera that can be used.
The copyrights of the pictures will stay with the photographer. However, Pragyan reserves the right to use the pictures for publicity or other activities.
Under no circumstance will entries once submitted be taken back for modifications.
The judges and the organizers reserve the right to cancel or vary the position awarded in case of any discrepancies.
The judges’ decision is final. No discussion or correspondence will be entertained regarding the same.
Participants are not allowed to tag people on the photographs when it is uploaded on Facebook by the organizers.
Anyone not adhering to the rules will be disqualified without prior notice.
