Round 1 : Abstract Submission

• Interested applicants must upload an abstract by 8th March 2019, stating in brief about their idea, the theme behind the idea, and the problems they wish to tackle by setting up a startup.

• Teams will be shortlisted based on the judging criteria.

• The shortlisted teams must send in their presentation by 13th March 2019 11.59PM

Round 2 : Case Study

• This is a written round.

• Business and Entrepreneur related problem statements will be provided.

• The questions will be of multiple choice and descriptive answers.

• Duration – 40 mins

Round 3 : Business Plan Presentation

• The teams need to present the business plan of their company in the form of a presentation.

• Time Limit for presentation is 8 minutes. Time Limit enforcement will be strict.

• After the presentation, the teams will have to defend their startup by answering the questions of the judges. This session will last for 2-4 minutes.

Rules:

• Candidates are bound to clarify all doubts before the presentation of their ideas.

• There should be a maximum of 2 members in a team.

• No plagiarism in ideas or thoughts would be accepted.

• Candidates are responsible for any personal items brought by them to the event.

• Vulgarity will not be entertained.

• The decision of the judges of the event will be final and binding on all the participants.

Round 2: Case Study

• Number of total credits gained after answering the questions

Round 3: Business Plan Presentation

The new ideas that teams pitch should be based on Sustainable development namely:

1. WATER SCARCITY.

2. AIR POLLUTION.

3. SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT.

4. NEED FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY.

Q) Where to submit the abstract?

A) You need to upload the abstract on the link provided in Pragyan Website.

Q) How do I make the business plan?

A) A business plan format will be sent to your registered e-mail ID, in case your abstract is selected. The plan must be made according to the format.

Q) Do I need a team?

A) Yes.But your team can have 2 members only.

Q) Do I need to get a laptop?

A) That is your personal choice. You just need a presentation for the final round. A laptop is not mandatory. 

Q) Can I submit abstracts for more than one idea?

A) Yes. However, you will be selected on the basis of the best of the ideas you have pitched.

Q) Can I attend even if my idea is not selected?

A) You are most welcome to attend the event as a part of the audience. You can learn a lot from the pitches. 

Q) What resources will be provided on campus?

A) Required paper materials, pens, a laptop for the presentation day and a projector will be provided.
