Participants are required to develop a data analytical method for predicting the minimum orbit intersection distance between Earth and asteroids using the Asteroid Dataset. With the increasing concern about potential asteroid impacts on Earth, it is crucial to accurately assess the risk posed by Near-Earth Objects (NEOs) and identify asteroids with orbits that bring them close to Earth.

The event will have two rounds:

• Submission round:
  • The participants are suppposed to provide a solution to the given problem statement in the given format, which will be shared with the dataset during the event
  • Participating in the workshop will benefit the candidates by giving them an edge in using the tools and analyzing data.
• Presentation round:
  • The top 10 submissions will be considered for this round.
  • The shortlisted candidates should present their solutions to the panel, and the top 3 will be considered winners.

• Each team can consist of 1-3 members.
• Participating in the Celestial Quest workshop before the event is advisable but not mandatory.
• Team members should be the same for the teams participating in the workshops and events.
• Plagiarism is strictly prohibited under any circumstances.
• The remaining rules will be provided durign the event with the technical details.

• Method of the solutions.
