Youth Summit is the annual outreach event under Pragyan, Technical fest of NIT, Trichy, hosted in association of Technical Council. This edition of Youth Summit is set to take place on 26th February, 2023 in Bangalore.
Youth Summit aims to create a dialogue and provide a platform for active discussion and debate for the youth. Youth Summit has speakers of various reputations regularly all throughout the past editions of youth summit which included the likes of Srinivasa Raghavan ,Amitabh Satyam etc. Along with intriguing guest lectures, workshops and events add to the importance of this venture by giving a taste of innovative experiences to the young audience.

Prateek Sethi is the Founder and Creative Director at Trip Creative Services, a multi-award-winning communication design house based out of Mumbai and Pune. Being an animator, producer, director, designer, and avid aerial cinematographer, he hosted one of the hit kids’ science curiosity-based shows - FAQ, on Pogo TV. Along with featuring on Cartoon Network SEA and multiple TEDx events as a speaker, he also won Times 40 Under 40. He is the producer and creative director of the multi-award-winning animated series, Folktales of India—a core team member of the Animators Guild India platform, magazine and on-ground film festival. With over 17 years of experience, he is always on the lookout for new and exciting ways to engage audiences.
Aanand Srinivas is Co-founder and CEO at StayQrious. He is an Ex-Content Head of Khan Academy and BYJU’S. He has graduated from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli. His experiences dealing with young students while working in such Educational ventures lays out the perfect mindset of how the youth of this country can look for various opportunities in their fields of interest.
Nirali Bhatia is a Counselling Psychologist, certified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist & Internet Addiction Therapist specialising in “Cyber Psychology”. Cyber Psychology is the study of the impact of technology on human behaviour and the mind. She is a TEDx Speaker and a Corporate Trainer and has conducted workshops & training programs for Corporates, Organisations, Educational Institutes and large Forums across the country. She also founded an anti-cyberbullying organisation – Cyber B.A.A.P., an acronym for Cyber Bullying Awareness, Action and Prevention. She counsels the victims of cybercrimes, online psychological damages and addictions. She was appointed as the psychologist for the television show “MTV Troll Police”, which was aired on MTV.
Poorvi Sachar, an alumnus of FMS Delhi, is the Head of Operations at Tezos India and Co-founder of NF3X. Tezos is an open-source blockchain that can execute peer-to-peer transactions and serve as a platform for deploying smart contracts. The Tezos network achieves consensus using proof-of-stake. Tezos uses an on-chain governance model that enables the protocol to be amended when upgrade proposals receive a favourable vote from the community.
He is the Founder of The Product Folks, a volunteer-driven community of PMs and enthusiasts. He is also invested as a Co-Founder of Indistractable, a new-age minimalist launcher to curb digital distraction and boost productivity. Being one of India’s most successful community builders, a man of his likes is never short of tales describing his inspiring journey to the youth. A young entrepreneur making a mark in this competitive world is undoubtedly a personality one would be keen to listen to.
Narendra Raj, who graduated from IIT Guwahati in 2021 from the department of Electronics and communication, is a massive youtube influencer with close to 1 lakh subscribers who has created his audience among college students figuring out their way through their college life. His content is not only relatable, but his way of delivering himself in his videos is also an inspiration for amateur vloggers who look forward to making it big in the youtube world. Apart from some unforgettable hostel life moments, we are keen to listen to his take on his journey as an influencer.
Rajeev is an engineer by qualification, a developer by heart and a student for life. As the Employee Experience Leader for the IBM India Software Labs, he is responsible for leading business operations, skill transformation initiatives, engagement programs and building eminence within the Lab. While that’s his role definition, Rajeev believes he is here to make IBM India Software Labs a happy workplace. In his 22 years of product engineering experience, Rajeev has worked extensively on Operating Systems, Java Virtual Machine, Java Class Libraries and Open Source Swift Foundation. Rajeev is an avid storyteller who loves to catch up on engaging conversations over a cup of coffee. Looking forward to brew some interesting discussions with him.
Dr. Prakash Selvakumar is a data scientist by profession. He is currently the Assistant Vice President of Data Science and Insigths at Genpact. He is an expert in the filed of Natural Language Processing and has majorly worked in tasks such as Document Search, Ticket Classification and many more.Among many other exemplary echievements, he has been selected as one of 40Under40 data scientists of the year. He has done significant contribution into the field of data science through his research and thesis. Dr. Prakash is someone who loves mathematics, especially statistics. He enjoys applying his knowledge to sove various business challenges through data science.
