Hospitality

Welcome to the official hospitality portal of Pragyan '11! We extend a warm welcome to all our visitors. It's our job to ensure that you enjoy your stay in NIT Trichy. Pragyan is essentially a concentration of thoughts and ideas - feel free to add yours! We value your participation and will be at your assistance throughout the festival.

Please remember to register for your accommodation well in advance.

Accomodation Details

1. You are required to report at the Hospitality desk  as soon as you arrive at the campus. Look out for directions in the campus to reach the hospitality desk .The registration fees for accommodation is Rs. 100 per day
2. All participants are required to carry their original identity cards to avail the accommodation and messing facilities and are required to follow the Rules and Regulations as mentioned on the respective page.
3. Kindly note that the accommodation is strictly on a shared basis and any requests for individual rooms or any complaints in this regard shall not be entertained.
4. Mattresses, pillows and quilts will be provided to all the participants who have confirmed accommodation. You need not stuff your backpacks with the same. However, please bring along all the stuff required for your respective events.

Rules and Regulations

1. For all the events the decision taken by the respective judges shall be final and binding to all the participants.We take utmost care in ensuring that the judges are unbiased and fair to all.
2. In event of any untoward incident (damaging, stealing institute’s property etc) or misbehavior of any kind, Pragyan team reserves the right to take any punitive action as deemed necessary, even to the extent of confiscating the security deposit and registration fees , cancelling the participation of the concerned college, escorting them off the campus and sending a report of misconduct to the head of the concerned institution.
3. Smoking and drinking is strictly prohibited inside the campus.
4. If any participant is caught with alcohols/cigarettes by the security cell in the campus, their goods would be confiscated and the person would be heavily penalized (up to Rs.1000).
5. You will be issued a Pragyan Hospitality booklet/I-Card when you reach NITT campus. You are advised to keep this booklet/I-Card along with your institute I-Card with you at all times during the four days of the festival. Without your institute I-Card your Pragyan Hospitality Booklet/I-Card will be considered invalid.
6. You are provided with a list of important phone numbers of all the coordinators.
7. In case of emergency feel free to contact any of the concerned coordinator.
8. Keep the campus neat and clean; use dustbins for trash.
9. Please maintain silence at night especially if you are allotted an accommodation in residential areas.
10. Each participant is self responsible for the security of his/her belongings.
