J N Reddy

As mankind evolves, certain exceptional and valiant men march ahead, seek the baton of advancement and change the course of this world. The ordinary mind looks unto such men with awe, the mediocre one glorifies them, and the intellectual mind seeks inspiration and knowledge from them.

One such man who thoroughly yet silently revolutionized the field of mechanics is Dr. J.N. Reddy. The man behind the Finite Element Analysis (a method used for solving even the most complex partial differential equations in mechanics and in aeronautics), he has helped serve engineering applications with higher levels of accuracy, productivity, enhanced design and consequently better insight into critical design parameters. He has subsequently opened doors for engineers and researchers around the world to bring about ground breaking progress in various scientific realms.

Moving beyond the ambits of his academic arena, he is also considered as a phenomenal educator. He considers teaching to be the most exemplary of professions, as it happens to be the noblest and the most virtuous way of sharing wisdom and knowledge. He has won many noteworthy teaching awards, and his books are widely used as textbooks in numerous courses at various eminent universities across the world. His books are widely popular for explaining very challenging theories in a lucid manner.
