Pragyan ’20 brings to you the opportunity to hear and interact with the one heading ISRO’s current manned space mission Gaganyaan, Dr V.R. Lalithambika. With proficient specialisation in advanced launcher technology, she is the Director of the Directorate of the Human Space Program. Dr Lalithambika has been awarded the ISRO performance excellence award in 2013 and received the Astronautical Society of India Space Gold Medal from Lt. Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam in 2001. Assuming the responsibility of the autopilot design of ISRO launch vehicles PSLV, GSLV and GSLV MkIII right from inception, she has come a long way in the field of aerospace mission, navigation, guidance, control, and simulation, and is propagating her knowledge to the enthusiastic youth of our country as well.
