CAD using Creo

An idea is just an abstract unless it is given a proper form. Nowadays, with the advent of the “entrepreneurial high”, the need to become self-sufficient is on the rise. Hence, not only ideation but product creation is also gaining pace. Thus, to build such powerful products, you should be equipped with the right tools.

Keeping this in mind, Pragyan’20 presents a 3D CAD workshop on PTC Creo in association with PTC. The one day workshop aims to introduce the learners to the basics of Product Design starting from Concept Design, Design Simulation, Analysis of tooling and manufacturing of products. The workshop would give hands-on experience of software product design and familiarity with the PTC Creo Suite. Giving life to your ideas will be less difficult now!

An email enclosing the payment link will be sent to the participant's registered email address after registration. A registration fee of INR 799 is to be paid towards Pragyan, NIT Trichy to complete the registration process for the workshop.

1) Does the workshop have any prerequisites?
Any student with a light background in electrical engineering or similar can attend the workshop.

2) How should the payment be made for the workshop?
Payment can be made online. Payment guidelines will be mailed to the participant’s email ID after registration.

3) On what basis are workshop registrations confirmed?
Registrations are confirmed after payment is done on a first come first serve basis. Confirmation of your participation is subject to availability.

4) Will the fees paid for the workshop be refunded in case I fail to attend the workshop?
Fees once paid, is strictly non-refundable. Requests for refund will not be entertained.

5) Will the accommodation be provided?
Yes. Accommodation will be provided depending on the availability and place of residence. A separate registration must be done for that. Visit the Pragyan website to register for accommodation.

6) Will certificates be provided?
Yes. A certificate from Pragyan, the techno-managerial organisation of NIT Trichy, will be provided after the completion of the workshop.
